May 5th, Société Nautique de Genève: President and CEO of OMEGA Mr Raynald Aeschlimann officially announced the brand's support for Team TILT, a sailing squad that offers structure and support to young Swiss sailors.

The announcement was made in the presence of Tanguy Cariou and Sebastien Schneiter from TILT's management team, who received watches on behalf of the sailors.

OMEGA equipped each member of Team TILT with a Speedmaster X-33, the same model worn by Emirates Team New Zealand. OMEGA's X-33 has an ingenious Regatta function which keeps track of the critical five minute pre-race countdown, as well as the yacht's speed between the buoys.

Emirates Team New Zealand is also supporting the rising Swiss stars.

The Kiwis have been mentoring the young sailors, offering invaluable advice and even the use of a racing yacht for training purposes.

The young Swiss crew have already shown their worth on the water, winning both the Bol d'Or Mirabaud and the Decision 35 Multihull Championships in Geneva in 2015.

This year in Bermuda, they'll be hoping to make their mark at the Red Bull Youth America's Cup, which runs alongside the main event.

OMEGA's support of Team TILT is further proof of the brand's commitment to the promotion and development of sailing.
