Last night, OMEGA President Stephen Urquhart was joined by 80 invited celebrities, style influencers, media and VIP customers at Fox Studios in Sydney for a luxurious black-tie dinner to celebrate the OMEGA Speedmaster “Dark Side of the Moon”.

As guests arrived they were greeted with a flute of special edition OMEGA x Bollinger Champagne, the first co-branded Bollinger that has ever been produced.

In the arrival space, guests were surrounded by an illuminated ring of OMEGA modern history with installations of 15 archived timepieces dating back to 1957 - the year the first Speedmaster was introduced.

Following the welcome reception, guests were led to a second room where they were seated at a table almost 100 feet long for a two-course dinner in a moonscape of darkness, lit with shimmering black moon dust and silver geometric forms glowing under candle light.

In keeping with the “Dark Side of the Moon” theme throughout the evening, the menu featured lunar-inspired molten sauces, layered textures and dramatic food that were an extension of the event’s entire concept.

The final stage of the evening saw guests relocate to the Dark Lounge where a stunning dessert table, scotch and cognac awaited them and DJ Leah Simmons (The Dollhouse) played into the night.
