On the black ceramic bezel, the Roman numerals are crafted with CeragoldTM technology – OMEGA’s exclusive method for seamlessly blending 18K gold with ceramic. Further quality can be found on the sun-brushed black dial, where OMEGA has included slender hands, a single Constellation star in gold, and 11 indexes inspired by the Manhattan skyline – in particular, the angular facets oftheFreedomTower.

Inside, the timepiece is driven by the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8901. Its luxury finish and exquisite standard of performance and magnetic resistance can be viewed through the caseback’s scratch-resistant sapphire crystal.

To continue the story of this legendary divers’ watch, OMEGA has gone back to its 1950’s origins. Details like the lollipop hand and open Arabic numerals are a nod to history, while new updates, such as the oxalic anodized-treated aluminium bezel give the timepiece a modern injection. Furthermore, a new engine has been added. The OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8912 offers peak-performance and ensures this heritage model is run by the most advanced mechanics.

The watch is built in stainless steel with a blue sandwich dial and recessed hour markers in “vintage” Super-LumiNova. Its sleek look is enhanced by an ergonomic bracelet, which comes with an extendable foldover rack-and- pusher, should the wearer ever need to fit it over a wetsuit!
