Mankind’s curiosity has always fuelled a passion to explore the mysteries of our universe. This undying curiosity led to the historic giant leap for mankind in 1969, when the first steps on lunar surface were recorded.

Since then, there has been no looking back. Witnessing these remarkable moments was the OMEGA Speedmaster, NASA qualified since 1965. The iconic chronograph has been strapped to the spacesuits of the astronauts on every one of the space agency’s manned missions, including all six lunar landings.

To celebrate the OMEGA Speedmaster’s remarkable journey, the brand hosted an exclusive evening at The Leela hotel in Chennai, India. Subtly illuminated settings inspired by the mysteries of the cosmos set the mood for the evening. The Speedmaster’s history in space was the thread running throughout the event. Guests had the rare opportunity to appreciate vintage Speedmaster timepieces dating back to the 1957, the year it was launched.
