New Sloane Street OMEGA boutique is out of this world
One of the world’s most iconic watch brands, OMEGA, has opened their seventh London boutique situated on Sloane Street, in the luxurious shopping destination of Knightsbridge.
To mark the occasion, Captain Gene Cernan, the eleventh and last man to walk on the moon, officially opened the boutique alongside OMEGA Vice President & International Sales Director, and Member of Swatch Group's Extended Group Management Board, Raynald Aeschlimann.

OMEGA brand ambassador Captain Cernan drew a lot of attention from passers-by, stopping traffic as he paused for pictures outside the boutique in a lunar rover. To see two icons of space exploration on a busy shopping destination in the centre of London was certainly a rare sight.
The new two storey boutique boats 360sqm of space, enabling the brand to showcase the latest collection of timepieces in a luxurious environment. The elegant space features a muted colour scheme of cream and champagne combined with extravagant zebra wood furniture, chiselled glass and a glass floor-to -ceiling window at the entrance.

The basement floor offers space for VIP customer service in a more private setting, and also houses a lab for the in-house watchmaker.
Speaking at the store, Raynald Aeschlimann said, "Sloane Street is home to our seventh OMEGA boutique in London, and further strengthens our relationship and commitment to the UK market. Knightsbridge is an iconic shopping destination, and home to some of the most renowned brands in the world. We look forward to offering the OMEGA retail experience in this beautiful part of London."

Captain Cernan was the first guest to be offered a tour of the new boutique, which presently houses a special presentation of the current Speedmaster collection in honour of his visit to London. Before leaving, he signed an iconic NASA print of himself driving the lunar rover on the moon in 1972, the last time that any astronaut stepped onto the surface.
The Sloane Street boutique offers a wide selection of the OMEGA watches, jewellery and leather goods.
